I had a wonder around Leeds yesterday with my friends Felicity & Anisha and absolutely loved so many things in the shops but unfortunately only came away with an umbrella (it was absolutely chucking it down). Why is it that when you have no money you love absolutely everything in the shops and when you do have money you leave the shops feeling uninspired?
Anyways, pay day is soon approaching (11 days and counting) and I thought I’d collate a wishlist to both share with you for inspiration and to remind myself what I need to go take a look at again once I have some monies….
Enjoy!
1. Merci Mon Cheri T Shirt – Topshop
I recently bought some black trousers from New Look and I was thinking this would look great tucked in to dress down the trousers or even teamed up with some jeans.
2. Flamingo Print Shirt – Topshop
Erm, hello. FLAMINGOS.
3. Embroidered Scallop Shirt – Topshop
Pretty sure I saw Liv Purvis wearing this in a Youtube video and well her clothes are the ultimate in goals. White, is always a risky move (I’ll be avoiding tomato soup with this on) but just look at those sleeves!
4. Red Gingham Blouse – Topshop
Slightly reminds me of my primary school uniform but I can live with that. You can never have too much gingham in your wardrobe right?
5. Poppy Embroidered Shift Dress – Oasis
I’m on the hunt for an upcoming wedding outfit and I’m a big fan of the embroidery on this.
More florals? Yes please.
7. Floral Flowy Cropped Trousers – Mango
As I mentioned earlier, I branched out and recently bought some new trousers as the only form of trousers I have owned probably since being 16 have been jeans! I’ve always been conscious of trousers other than jeans because of my thighs. I don’t know if its a boost in confidence or the spin classes but I’m more tempted to try out different styles and I thought these wide flowy pair would be super comfortable and stylish.
8. Black Spot Print Trousers – New Look
P-O-L-K-A D-O-T-S <3
For days when it’s sunny and not chucking it down unlike this weekend the transition to sandals can begin!
10. Pink Satin Lace Up Trainers – New Look
Ok, so I’m thinking the top (number 1), polka dot trousers (number 8) and these beautiful ‘millennial pink’ (a la Kate Lavie) trainers. What do you think?
Hope you like! What are your favourite shops?
I love the flamingo shirt. It’s so cool and different!
